I am totally in summer mood these past two weeks! The weather has been just beautiful. We have been to the sea last weekend: hanging out at the beach, going for walks, sea side aperitif and eating outside – just perfect! I especially love mild summer evenings.
Being in the summer mood also means easy, light dishes, a lot of fresh produce and colourful cooking.
I have the perfect summer day lunch for you: Green asparagus, topped with goat cheese and a super yummy orange vinaigrette.
This weekend is all rainy. So I decided I want to try some new things in the kitchen. Pumpkin is kind of a new territory for me that needs to be discovered and the Hokkaido was waiting in the kitchen for more than a week now until this morning I decided to make a pumpkin Quiche. A spicy orange and yellow Quiche.
Is there anything better than some little indulgence after work? Lately I was seeing a lot of these ready-to-eat wrapped goat cheese products around but freshly prepared it’s much better. Actually I wanted to buy regular goat cheese but what they had was much better: honey goat cheese – yummy!
